I am proficient in HTML, CSS and Javascript / Jquery although I have only been coding for a short amount of time I have also picked up the skills quite easily and hope to further my skills through mentorship and self learning practices.
Before I stepped into the world of code I was a freelance Designer with an eye for accuracy and delicacy I am able to craft any idea and turn them into reality.
I am currently in the process of deepening my Javascript / Jquery skills although I feel proficient in that area I won't be satisfied till I master the skill set.
Close To Home is where everything in my work life started. For the first time in my life I felt as if things around me were changing and that I was apart of that change. Close To Home is a Domestic Violence prevention initiative that aimed to stop domestic violence before it started. My time spent with Close To Home has layed the bones in which would ultimately put down the foundation of what I wanted to do with my life
IT support was one of the funnest jobs I ever had in my entire life. I have always had an affinity for technology, taking things apart and changing parts. Not to long after getting into IT I realized that I wasn't very interested in the "Hardware" aspect so I wanted to pursue another avenues.
After a while of searching for what I wanted to do in my life I ended up joining the ARMY to better my future. Although I've been through alot with the ARMY it gave me alot of time to think about what I wanted for myself once I finished my contract. after a vacation of course once I got home.
I started the bootcamp for Resilient Coders 2 days after my birthday and learned how to code to compliment my design skills i've become adept at front end web development
